Tflows v1.3.0
discord.py automation, without the boilerplate

Write bot behavior like a script.

Tflows is a lightweight, registry-driven scripting framework for Discord bots. Define commands, events, scheduled work, state, and interactive flows in readable text while keeping normal discord.py commands, cogs, and listeners available.

The idea

Small scripts, full control.

Tflows sits on top of discord.py instead of replacing it. Use concise script lines for the repetitive command layer, then drop into Python whenever your bot needs custom functions, variables, cogs, or listeners.

Script-first commands

Variables, arguments, conditionals, loops, functions, embeds, components, and comments are built into the script engine.

Automation primitives

Schedule jobs, react to events, persist scoped state, call optional HTTP/JSON helpers, and add slash or context commands.

Python when needed

Extend the registry with your own functions and variables, or mix scripts directly with regular discord.py application code.

Quick introduction

Install and make a command.

$ pip install tflows

$ python -c "import tflows; print(tflows.__version__)"
from tflows import FlowBot

bot = FlowBot(prefix="!")
bot.command("ping", "reply Pong! $ping")
bot.run("YOUR_BOT_TOKEN")
